A few months ago, I started taking a new workout class called Physique 57 and I have come obsessed with it! It truly has changed the shape of my body. I'm a runner/cardio lover, and have always tried (sometimes unsuccessfully) to do weights 2x a week to tone my body. A friend of mine started taking the Physique classes, and persuaded me to join her. Now I'm addicted! The class is about an hour long, and focuses on different muscle groups (thighs, arms, abs, and butt), with stretching and push-ups in between sections. It definitely kicks my butt (especially the thigh section, when my other leg actually shakes) but I feel amazing afterwards!
The studios are in New York but they also have DVDs that teach you how to do the moves at home. It truly is a workout that everyone can do, it just takes time and practice to learn the proper technique!
